Tableau de bord ACL pour l’hybride 2010 de Ford.

Avez-vous déjà vu un tableau de bord d’avion de chasse moderne. De l’ACL partout et une profusion d’information numérique. Ford innove avec son futur modèle hybride la Fusion en proposant une interface numérique multifonction qui va venir entourer le compteur de vitesse.
Sur le futur modèle hybride de Ford, c’est en fait tout le tableau de bord classique qui est remplacé par un large affichage ACL, le "SmartGauge". Celui-ci reçoit en son centre le compteur de vitesse qui reste avec un aspect classique à aiguille. Sur son pourtour, on retrouve toutes les fonctions habituelles, mais dans des menus déroulants qui affichent en plus des indications de température de moteur, de compte-tour quand le moteur thermique est engagé, des tutoriels et des informations relatives aux divers éléments du véhicule.
De plus pour ajouter encore à l’aspect écologique de sa voiture Ford a rajouté une animation d’arbre qui perd ou gagne des feuilles en fonction de votre style de conduite pour vous inciter à adopter de bonnes pratiques pour l’environnement.
J’aime l’idée et j’espère que cela sera très fiable, car sans aucun autre instrument analogique de secours, en cas de panne logicielle au milieu de nulle part, le conducteur n’aura plus aucune indication de vitesse.

Après avoir promis un futur immédiat dans les modèles hybrides sans trop y croire, on espère que Ford pourra rattraper sa promesse. Ce serait bien d'avoir une vision plus éclairée (lire leadership, trop longtemps absente chez Ford.
Enfin, ce manufacturier aurait d'autres choses que des »trucks« à offrir au monde.
Juste mentionner à l'auteur de l'article que l'indicateur de vitesse au centre de l'écran est un indicateur analogue, et qu'il est flanqué de deux écrans LCD de chaque côté. Donc si le système électronique venait à avoir une défaillance, l'utilisateur aurait tout de même accès à sa vitesse (source : le communiqué de Ford en anglais, en lien sous l'article).
PS : Ça fait longtemps que ford a autre chose à offrir que des "trucks", même s'il s'agit de sa marque de commerce.
Dans la vidéo émannant de FORD présentée sur un site de test américain c'était tout le tableau de bord qui était ACL et le site de Ford n'était guère explicite.
Je vais me renseigner directement pour valider l'information.
